Simon Pickard will be displaying a scale model of the Jewish Tabernacle. This was a mobile temple that the Jewish nation used during their years of exile in the desert. The model is built using the detailed descriptions in the Bible which include sizes, specific materials and colours for almost every aspect.
This was created to serve as a visual aid for my Local church after My grandfather requested some help visually to demonstrate how various parts of the Tabernacle would have looked. The greatest challenge was creating a primarily fabric structure out of plastic parts and creating the very specific golden artefacts kept inside given the limited LEGO parts available in gold colouring.
