We strongly recommend you buy tickets for the show online in advance! We know that the STEAM museum ticket desks are extremely busy each morning and buying tickets online in advance ensures you do not have to queue to purchase tickets on the day. Your fast-track ticket confirmation barcode will be scanned on arrival and this will also enter you into an exclusive draw for advance ticket holders to win cool LEGO prizes.
Advance tickets can be purchased via our online ticketing partner, Swindon Tickets. Please note that booking fees apply for all online ticket purchases.
We often get asked what you need to bring to the show. When you place your order online, you will be emailed a printable A4 page with a barcode on it and the words “This is your ticket. Present this entire page at the event” at the top right. This should take 2-4 hours to arrive in your inbox but may take up to one day.Not received your tickets yet? Don’t worry, contact Swindon Tickets in the first instance and then use the Contact Us page here to escalate to us if you do not receive a response within one working day.

Why are advanced tickets more expensive than purchasing on the day? In our case, it’s cheaper for us to sell tickets on the day and we pass that lower cost onto the customer. All ticketing for the show is managed by the STEAM museum, which is operated by Swindon Borough Council, but unfortunately the Museum has no facilities to sell event tickets online at the moment. Advanced tickets sales are sold though Swindon Tickets and STEAM absorb most but not all of of the booking fees they levy. On-the-day tickets are sold by the museum directly.
Advanced booking does guarantee you fast-track entry to the show via a separate channel manned by Swindon Tickets. The queues can get very long in the mornings but advanced ticket holders walk straight in and this is the primary reason we sell a lot of tickets online, despite the small booking fee.
Note to parents: All children under sixteen must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or over) at all times.
Please retain your admission ticket to STEAM as it allows you leave and re-enter the museum on the same day.
Doors open at 10am and the show closes at 5pm. Last admission to the museum is at 4.30pm.
Parking is available close by in the Swindon Designer Outlet Centre car parks. All parking charges apply to museum visitors. See the Outlet Centre Car Park information boards for more details. Please ensure you pay/validate your car park ticket in the Outlet Centre Car Park before you return to your vehicle.
